What We Do
What Does Professional Water Heater Installation Include?
Installation is design work with an install at the end — the thinking is most of the product:
- Demand design. Every new fixture counted — showers, tubs, laundry, kitchen — and the peak hour calculated, so the system is sized to the life the space will actually live.
- Location selection. The heater's home chosen for venting, drainage, freeze protection, and the service access it will need for fifteen years — not the corner that happened to be empty.
- Fuel and capacity planning. Gas line sizing or electrical capacity verified before the unit is chosen, including what a conversion does to the property's existing systems.
- Supply and distribution runs. New hot and cold lines to the space, sized for distance and demand, insulated where the route asks for it.
- Code-current details. Expansion handling, discharge piping, pans and drains where floors matter, seismic and clearance requirements observed as standard.
- Permits, inspection, and handover. The paperwork filed, the inspection passed, and the system's care — flush rhythm, valve locations — handed over in plain language.
A dead tank in an existing spot is water heater replacement, not installation; a tankless design for the new space is evaluated on the tankless water heaters page.
